"The Ashwood Inn is a lovely place to stay in Central Huron. It’s very close to Grand Bend, Goderich and Bayfield. Many of the best beaches on Ontario’s West Coast are just minutes away. I would highly recommend staying here as the rooms are spacious, it’s very quiet, and the staff were very helpful."

"The air conditioning unit in the room didn't work so we were very warm. As well, the towel rack was hanging by a thread on the wall so it would fall every time. Also, no elevator which I guess because it's a historical building they are not allowed to put one in but it's a lot of stairs."

"Newly refurbished rooms I believe. They were painting the outside. We never had a chance to check out the indoor pool but saw that it was much bigger than most hotel pools. The room was clean. Checking in was painless. Parking was plentiful even though we had to park off to the side as we were in a room upstairs. Comfortable ling sized bed.We stayed 2 nights on our roadtrip. I would go back again."
