"Hello, I have a few concerns regarding our stay and would appreciate some clarification. I noticed there is a sign stating that the hotel is not responsible for vehicle theft. At the same time, guests are being charged $40.00 plus tax for parking. Since we are already paying a significant amount for our room and no breakfast is included, I am wondering what this parking fee covers. I am also concerned about the payment policy. We believe guests should have the option to pay for parking in cash. At other hotels where we have stayed, a credit card is requested only for an incidental hold. The hold remains pending and is only used if there are damages, long-distance phone charges, or charges made to the room. In our experience, the hotel has never actually withdrawn funds unless there were additional charges. Please let me know if my understanding is incorrect. Thank you for your time. TT"
