"An amazing place to stay, wonderful setting and experience staying in an ancient castle. With a great host who was welcoming, serving great breakfast, providing good recommandation for diner.
Note, we had an electric car and the owner was very accommodating and help us to charge the car every day."

"This was truly a home away from home experience. The property itself is so tastefully renovated and has a true French country feeling. The owner and her family are so warm and friendly. They offered great suggestions for exploring the surrounding areas along with great places to dine in the evening. Every morning breakfast was presented in a true French style. I loved staying at this property. "

"Chateau Autignac was the perfect place to unwind from a hectic week. The suite we had was magical and the wine offering from the "in-house" winery was mouthwatering. 5/5 can wholeheartedly recommend and will return!"

"Nous avons passé un agréable séjour en pleine nature. Idéal pour se déconnecter de la ville et des écrans. La piscine et la climatisation ont été très appréciables par ces fortes chaleurs. "

"Quaint family run establishment in this lovely quiet area of France.
Rooms are cozy and comfortable and the husband and wife owners make you feel part of the family. An evening plat du jour meal is available and is always excellent and the local wine is a must.
Lots of wonderful walking is on your doorstep as well as around nearby Rouquebrun and the coast is not far away either. Also a perfect stopover on your way to/from the Spanish resorts."

"Located in the centre of the old village of Autignac, the La Coquillade - Gite is a quaint group of accommodations around a courtyard with central swimming / plunge pool. Parking was on street but safe and our apartment was accessed through a small door off the street and through a covered passageway that we referred to as "the cave". This was a cool spot where you could sit to avoid the extreme summer heat. Although described as a two bedroom apartment, the second "room" was only separated...

"Staff were positive and friendly however we had a burnt out lightbulb which didn’t get replaced.
Lights in the lounge at night are low wattage and the lounge is poorly lit making reading difficult.
Having said that - would we stay there again? Yes. Very handy to the village."
"I absolutely recommend this hotel. We stayed four nights and the hotel is stunning. The beds are comfy with nice bedding and decor. Good shower and fabulous breakfast with local produce. We couldn’t use the pool as it was too cold and closes 1st October which was a shame it wasn’t heated but I guess that’s normal. The gardens are lovely to sit in early evening before dinner.
The food is superb and I would definitely recommend eating there . My only criticism was that the set menu of the day is the same for the week which I found frustrating. There are other choices but either a la carte or a more expensive set menu.
The staff are very attentive and friendly. They make you feel like it’s your home whilst you are there. Location is good too as it is easy to access Pezenas, Beziers, the beaches etc and the auto route is only minutes away. There is a large Carpark that’s free to use as well.
I will definitely be back if we are in this area again. "
