"We had a great two night stay. The property is clean, decorated nicely, and very pet friendly. The property was a nice peaceful retreat to visit the Harkers Island area. Would highly recommend."

"Great location and excellent place to meet the rising sun on the back porch! Enjoyed kayaking in the channel, easily accessible right from the driveway. If not for the high winds, would have loved to take advantage of the fire pit - maybe next time…"

The Ferry Retreat in Cedar Island!

"The host is very friendly and helpful. We had some issues with the door lock and he was able to reset the lock instantly over the phone during check in. The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are very clean with more than enough supplies, although the kitchen plates are all plastic and worn. The retreat is very cozy and is only 7 minutes from the ferry, very convenient. We had a good sleep."

"The TV service or lack thereof was frustrating to us as we only have Dish service at home and we’re not prepared to adapt to your service. Also, the mold issue on your ceiling in the living room needs to be addressed. Someone with allergies would find it difficult to stay there. Otherwise the house was very comfortable and most accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much"
