"Nice private beach area, patio, pool deck. Water toys for rent near and lot of choices to eat. Families and olders like us fit in. Perfect Tahoe experience."

"likes: EXCELLENT location in the middle of Tahoe City, available parking, had a fridge with freezer, clean linens and comfortable beds, shower pressure was fine and the bathroom was generally clean, pretty view of the lake from the upper floors, good check-in/check-out hours, had a system in place to contact staff if something was needed after hours (did not need this). oh and they allow dogs!! concerns: 1. AC would have been helpful - we discovered too late that there was a fan, and that may have sufficed, but, without either, it was hard to sleep even though it had only been ~80degrees that day. 2. the lower garage appeared to have been last used during ski season and was filthy - old sand, rocks, debris, dirty walls and dark/dingy. it hadn't been swept, etc in months. (The main parking area was fine.) The elevator was old and slow and definitely needed a clean but we were grateful it worked (we were on the 7th floor). The landing/open air hallway outside of the rooms definitely needed sweeping and mopping. overall, you are paying for the location and the place is clean enough where it matters. Attention to cleaning in the common, outdoor areas would go a long way towards making this place better value for the money"

"I think this facilities is a good value because it’s inexpensive. The location is OK, close to the lake. It’s not fancy and there’s no view, but everything is clean and they have a nice little pool. Parking was easy and it wasn’t a problem not to have Staff on site. We would’ve enjoyed it more if it had air-conditioning, but again, it was much less expensive than other options we found."

"At check in was told there was a $50 added surcharge for amenity use, I told them didn’t want to use them, but they said I would have to pay it anyway. If I knew this up front I would have stayed somewhere else."

"It is a very quiet hotel. The bed was new and comfy. The room was clean and the bathroom was updated. It is an old hotel with low ceilings in the hall and in need of new hall carpet. It is a family owned and operated property which they are working on renovating. I don’t think that is a negative, just what it is. Very pleasant place to stay and in a great location in Carson City."

"Not a fancy facility, but the room was roomy and very clean. The breakfast was typical, though the breakfast area is small. You'll probably put your breakfast on a plate and carry it back to your room."
