"The location was about as good as you can hope - crazy close to the train station and conveniently located next to the canal, right outside of the touristic heart of the city. The rental was spacious and crazy comfortable - with amenities aplenty, the washing machine was a godsend. The rental looked clean, the terrace was perfect for a nice meal and a bottle of wine to unwind after a nice, hot day. AC made the apartment nice and cool, which was a must in the sweltering heat. "I had a very good stay here. My room was very comfortable and clean with good air-con. The hotel has a nice garden with a small swimming pool, perfect on a hot afternoon. I had 2 dinners - both excellent and good value. I did however think the breakfast was rather disappointing, would have been nice to have more choice and fresh jams etc, rather than plastic pots."

"What an incredible property – it was absolutely perfect for our needs: four adults and one toddler. Everything was exactly as shown; in fact, the photos don’t do the property justice!Richard and Helen were on hand to help with any questions, and the pool was a godsend in the hot weather. A gas barbecue, bikes and even pool inflatables were provided too. There was plenty of living space, fully equipped kitchen, three generously sized bedrooms with lots of storage, and off-street parking, making this the perfect place for our family trip.The property is only a few minutes’ walk from the canal, where you’ll find cafés and bars overlooking the water. The nearest supermarket is also just a few minutes away by car.We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property!"

"There are B&Bs you stay in that feel very corporate and then there are places like this one. It is family owned and operated, and the owners make you feel like family while you are there. They and their two daughters were happy to show you the property they renovated during Covid and worked so hard to turn into a beautiful little part of France. The location is convenient to Carcassonne and there are dining options there. This is located in the country so you'll need to travel into the city to eat. Breakfast here was very good (one of the best we had while traveling around France, Italy and Switzerland). I truly hope you try this place as the owners are really great people..."

"Lovely shabby chic style hotel with lots of upcycled features within a renovated collection of buildings around a central courtyard. Attentive welcome from the owner and lots of nice touches, such as the gifting of a delicious homemade chocolate dessert on our final night. Makes a pleasant change from overly commercialised and formulaic hotels, where you are just part of a pipeline of guests - this feels more like staying with family or friends. Highly recommended"
