This house was wonderful! Plenty of room, great kitchen with everything you need. Bathrooms are fabulous. Bedrooms great. The owner is wonderful to work with! Great Place!!
This house is perfect!!! Our large family came together from all over to stay here! Pictures here don’t do it justice! Rooms are so large and beautiful! Beds are so comfortable! Thank you helping us have wonderful memories
We had our family of 7 adults and 1 2-year-old stay a week at this beautiful, updated and well appointed home. The rooms were so spacious, including every bedroom and bathroom! The location on a finger of Lake Bomoseen was quiet- I had concerns with Hwy 4 nearby but you barely noticed it!
We enjoyed the firepit, the well suppplyed kitchen, and the soundproof walls (very helpful with a toddler!)
HIGHLY recommend!

Fantastic lake rental, responsive owner
We loved our long weekend at the cabin— every little detail is considered to ensure a comfortable stay; from products in the bathrooms, extra towels for showering, kitchen supplies, etc. The beds were comfortable to sleep in and plenty of seating in the dining room and living room! I wish I had realized sooner that the lake right outside was a bit too mucky for swimming, but the owner recommended Crystal Lake, a short drive away; we went twice and loved it! A crazy storm blew through on our last night and knocked the power out for 6 hours which was a bummer but the owner was incredibly responsive and kept us up to date with status updates from the electric company and where to find flashlights and candles if needed which we appreciated so much! We would love to return again someday 😊
Went for a long weekend fishing trip. The house was exactly what we needed. Every little detail was thought of. The house and property was spottless. The fire pit on the lakes edge was an awesome addition to hang around after our long days of fishing. The lake was a little weeded out in front of the house but it didnt hinder our access to the dock with the boats. Unfortunately the fish didn't cooperate with us but having a great home to come back to made it all that much better. 10/10 across the board
The property was a great location to the college in Castleton!! We had a group of 10 family members and the accommodations were great. All of the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed… even a hair dryer!! The lake view was beautiful!! Would definitely stay again!!
This was a perfect spot for our friends from out of town to stay. The house was very roomy and clean! The use of kayaks in the summer was an added plus!
We stayed at the lake house with our son, his wife and four teenage grandchildren. The location was beautiful and the house provided plenty of room for all and everything we needed. An added bonus for us was the ability to dock our son’s boat right outside making early morning wakeboarding and twilight fishing memories the kids will remember.
My family and I all loved staying at this awesome house! We were in Hydeville to attend a 90th bday party which was just up the road so location was perfect. We didn’t do much cooking but the kitchen seemed very well equipped. The bathrooms are lovely, new, clean with plenty of towels. Each bedroom was quite large , with comfortable beds and plenty of closet space. The patio with fire pit has plenty of comfortable Adirondack chairs. Sitting next to the creek watching the sunset over the gorgeous fall foliage was so picturesque. We will be back!
We were welcomed with a rose wine and a personalized note which we really appreciate. The Kitchen has allll the things you need. The Bathroom we’re stacked with towels and amenities. From Strong wifi, Big couch for everyone to lounge, , extra beds, linens, Roku Smart Tv to first aid kits and laundry detergents.Name it they have it!! Which made our stay more fun.
The house is great! Big, comfy and well stocked amenities! Only 2 minor downsides. The water is low right now due to drought, again not the fault of the property but it made getting the kayaks in and out of the water tricky especially for our older guests. The kitchen smoke alarm is sensitive, even with just the toaster, not burning set it off. But we would rather have an oversensitive smoke alarm than one that didn’t work. Would definitely return. Thanks
The house is a wonderful mix of fun, elegant and rustic. Purfect for entertaining. Loved the deck, dock, and living room with view of the water. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms and outdoor shower were brand new and very nicely appointed. The only caution would be for those who wish to swim. The water at the dock is only good to access with a kayak. No swimming from the dock due to weeds and lilypads. But this was fine with us. We just took kayaks down the creek into Lake Bomoseen and could then enjoy the lake. Absolutely plan to go back and enjoy this property and all that it has to offer. Country lake paradise.
Beautiful home… the owners left a nice welcome note and bottle of wine. Mainly stayed at the house, but there was a book with things to do in the area. Owners were very quick to respond when we had a question and even gave us a later check out time which was greatly appreciated. Thank you again for everything. We had a great time!!!!! The Lively’s
