"Hi! Sorry for the late response. When I got back, I had to hit the floor running for many reasons…You had a lovely home and we all had a wonderful time there. We loved how well stocked the kitchen was. It would be helpful if you had a sign near the garbage disposal on how to operate it. Google taught us. Later we found the directions in the binder.The main floor bathroom sink is clogged and the water would not drain down. The fireplace should be clean upon arrival. We wanted to use it, but didn’t feel up to removing all the ash and going out to buy wood. It would be nice if we could purchase it there, or at least enough wood for a couple fires was provided with the cost of the rental.We enjoyed the big kitchen island. We are big game players and played group games every day we were there. It would have been helpful if there were high bar chairs for all 9 of us. Some had to look up to participate!Once again, everything looked beautiful.Six of us did take advantage of the sauna. Two were at the end of being sick with upper respiratory infections when we were there and appreciated the sauna, and another had lymes disease and was very achy. He also appreciated the sauna.We were able to view the lighthouse from the overlook, and got some great photos. We spent Sunday on the lighthouse grounds to avoid the crowds on Monday.Thanks again. It was a beautiful home. The location was perfect for what we had planned this trip. We enjoyed the space.Hope this helps!"

"The property is equal parts upscale & Minnesota charming, with its smores kits, rock painting & fire pits. The woman working the desk was informative, the parking convenient to our room, and the fireplace welcoming. As someone who does a lot of fine dining in cities across the country, the restaurant was unexpected in its elegant decor, fantastic view, great food & wine list. There was minimal staff, as we were there mid-week, but we never felt neglected. "

"The Lodge and surroundings are beautiful. Incredible views from the room. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Our visit was in celebration of Veterans Day and a birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. "
