"This place was truly wonderful! A great way to unwind and relax, feel like part of history and enjoy the village of Poyales! Ruben, our host, was wonderful! He and his mother are truly genuine people who care about their guests! My husband and I were traveling around Spain for 19 days and this was the most magical time of our trip! We relaxed in the yard, walked around to nearby villages and felt very welcome and enjoyed it very much! I highly recommend if you are looking to unwind and disconnect for a relaxing treat in a small historical village! "

"No hand rail as such but rope rail on stairs. Stairs even but if you struggle with balance a bit of a problem. Breakfast extremely good.. homemade apricot and strawberry jam no too sweet. Apricot jam was outstanding. Continental breakfast well with the money."

"Lovely property, kind staff & spotlessly clean. Only challenge, not the fault of the property, was limited dining. This may be reflective of the time of year. The hotel breakfast was excellent. "

"When we go to the property in the morning, the reception was not open, even though according to the hotel details it should have been. I called the hotel number and I think the lady was telling me that she had to visit the doctor and will be at the hotel soon. We went for a breakfast in the town centre and sure enough she was back and let us check-in early."
