"Great room, breakfast, and staff. Adequate parking. Not too far from the historic district. Only issue we had is that the walls everywhere are painted black and lights were barely on, so it’s difficult to see where you are going. That’s the vibe, but older people like us may have a problem. "

"The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the rooms really comfortable and so clean. The whole place was warm ,which was a benefit as the weather outside was distinctly wet and cold.( It was March) The breakfast was all you could wish for and the communal table was an opportunity to meet and talk to people from all over the world. Highly recommended."

"Superb staff, Emanuel at front desk went above and beyond printing out maps and providing suggestions for day trips. Hotel and rooms are very dated and lack a cohesive look. Bathroom smelled of sewage and the entire hotel had the smell of grandma’s awful perfume. Rooms are small, location is superb and right on the water. Amazing views from the top floor restaurant. Wait staff fantastic and very attentive."

"I was welcomed so warmly. Great staff who went out of their way to make it a great stay. The room was a bit old, the shower was a bit unusual, but it was very charming and the view out over the water was amazing! Close to everything but also off to the side to be quiet enough. Would definitely recommend "
