"All communications from the staff were timely and easy to understand, considering there is nobody physically on-site, it took a second to understand. The rooms were clean and neatly kept, with every amenity one could ask for. The best part was the proximity to downtown Port Austin, less than a 5 min drive and you’re where you want to be. I would highly recommend staying at the Sun and Sand, I know we will when we venture back!"
"We enjoyed our stay at the Lakeside Motor Lodge, at the very tip of the Michigan thumb. We were on the 1st floor and there was a picnic table right outside our room. This is an an advantage not offered by very many overnight stays. We could sit outside, play some Phase 10, on the table and enjoy the cool breezes.
When we check in we often ask where a good place to eat is. Bird Creek Farm was recommended. We took that recommendation and ate outside on a very nice back porch, which was obviously...
