The layout of the barn at Oakenshaw is perfect for groups and families, giving everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy being together.The barn itself is ideal for a celebration or get-together, and we certainly made the most of the facilities — especially the bar, pool table, and the generous space for fun family games.On the second night, we really enjoyed using the fabulous kitchen...

"Lovely property. The games room was great esp for a group. Really nice big garden and outhouse which was good for the kids. Lovely bedrooms and comfy beds all with ensuite. Just the bottom bed was a bit lumpy. Owner very nice to deal with and very clean. Lovely little high street and play park nearby within 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend a visit to Barnard Castle, Stepping Stones Park and a day trip to Durham."
