"This a cabin in a state park. It was very clean and had newer upgrades. Bring the food you need because it's fairly distance from a grocery. We came later in the day because we needed one night and this was a great price and not a chain hotel which we like. There is a little store not too far from the park. We ordered deli sandwiches from here and picked up some icecream. The sandwiches were delicious and the store had pretty much whatever you might need. The checkin process was great with good communication about which cabin to go to, what the door code was etc... We plan to come back for a longer stay so we can have another evening around the firepit and see all of the stars. Great place to stay."

"The cabin was roomy and spotless, and contained everything we needed. The host was responsive. The location of the cabin is perfect. It is right on the river, with a large gravel bar just across the river from the cabin. The kitchen had all we needed to cook our own meals, but there is also a good variety of restaurants in town. I don't know how somebody can give this cabin an 8 out of 10 with no comments to explain why, because this is a phenomenal place. It's a great spot for any time of the year. We will definitely be back."

"The house is beautiful but and covered deck overlooking the river was everything we needed! The host was quick to respond and the house had everything we needed to prepare meals. The beds and couch were super comfortable! The river was gorgeous and the temperature of the water was perfect. Van Buren is a cool little town with so much nature to enjoy in the area. We were lucky enough to view the lunar eclipse and Milky Way on one of our nights there! We loved our time and would definitely book this house again if we’re ever back in the area!"

"There is a lot to love with this house, but at 800 per night, it fell short of our expectations. The house was very clean and spacious. We especially loved the outdoor space and river access. While the house is suited to hold 8 people, there was very sparse furniture throughout the house. It also had no window treatments or curtains on the two front bedrooms that face the deck. So each room has two large glass doors directly exposed to the outdoor deck area that is accessible to the entire house, leaving no privacy during the day and exposure to sunlight in the early AM. The kitchen was mostly well stocked, but missing baking sheets and had no dishwasher liquid so we had to do dishes by hand. We messaged the host about the missing soap and never heard back. Lastly, we didn't have any keys to the property, so we had to leave the doors unlocked while away. Overall, this house was a great location and well suited for our trip - it just lacked a few details you would expect, especially at this price point."
