"Highway 395 has diverted traffic away from Olancha, causing all the businesses to struggle. Staying in the teepee was enjoyable for me and my son. I hope others are willing to give this small business a chance. The teepee was clean and comfortable. The Olancha Cafe was good for dinner."

"An amazing experience from start to finish. The location in the Alabama Hills of Lone Pine was absolutely perfect for us during Badwater 135 race week—peaceful and beautiful, with Mount Whitney in the background, yet only a short distance from town.Our host was incredible—friendly, accommodating, and genuinely available 24/7 if we needed anything. With temperatures over 100 degrees, the AC worked perfectly and kept the house cool and comfortable. The kitchen was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed for race preparation and meals. The entire property was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained.We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for such an important week. Highly recommend, and we would absolutely stay here again!"

"What an amazing place! Got a tip from a local to take a short drive up the Mount Whitney portal and I highly recommend everyone do the same. The views from the room are AMAZING! Waking up to the sunrise on the mountains was something I'll never forget. Communication was fast and very helpful. Highly HIGHLY recommend staying here."
