The property is really a bargain for the coastal area. The property is a bit dated and could use some updating. The location is great right off the 101 FWY. Parking was excellent.

This propery has been remodeled. The room had a modern contemporary design which I appreciated. Simple decor, and clean. No elevators though. It had sufficient parking near the room. Coffee available in the office. I liked it. Would stay here again. AC worked great.

This used to be a Motel 6, but now it’s rebranded to be a Vagabond Inn. Same color scheme, just a different name. No frills, a room, a pretty decent pool, right next to the freeway. There are plenty of dining options within a 5 minute drive.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke when we arrived. We were able to air it out for a few hours and it got better. Our room faced the freeway and it was very loud. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was spacious. There was only 1 bath towel in the room, the rest were hand towels. We asked for more towels and they gave us multiple hand and floor towels, so that was strange. But we felt safe and we liked that it was very dog friendly. Probably won’t stay here again, but it worked for what we needed.
