There are bathing spots at Rödliner See approx. 250 metres away and at Schleesersee approx. 300 metres away. Carpin is a village between the residential town of Neustrelitz and the town of Woldegk in the centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District, directly on the B198. There are many lakes around the village with beautiful bathing spots and good fishing opportunities. Carpin is the gateway to the Müritz National Park. Guided tours and hikes are possible there. Neustrelitz is around 12 kilometres away and the spa town of Feldberg is around 14 kilometres away. There are numerous boat and bike hire facilities there. In Neustrelitz you can experience culture and architecture with the historic castle park, the Louisentempel, the castle church or the newly designed market square. There are numerous shopping facilities and restaurants in both towns.
