"I almost hate to write a great review for Pasadena Rose & Crown Hotel (PRC) because I'd rather keep this as a great little secret. I visit Los Angeles area ~3x per year and Pasadena is a great central location for friends, family, shopping and restaurants. The surrounding neighborhoods are quaint and safe. "The room was not cleaned prior to my family’s arrival. The nightstand and desk were sticky with smears. The bathroom was dusty and did not look clean at all. The sheets didn’t smell clean either. I also started to experience bites as soon as we sat on the bed. I’m not sure if they had bed bugs. My family did not stay that night, we tried but it was honestly the worst hotel experience. The hotel needs to take ownership and actually deep clean their rooms for each guests."
