Note the yard is "rustic". I.e it is not (yet) improved- it is basically all dirt and unfenced with an old pad from a torn-down shed (sort of on our to-do list). The empty lot next door is owned by our neighbor and he uses it for parking. We allow 1-2 dogs but keep in mind there isn't fenced space for them to roam, so they will need to be supervised outside or inside with you.

The neighborhood is what I would call average for Carlsbad. Its not a dangerous part of town but there are older homes in need of an update. (This is sort of how most of Carlsbad is- most of the town was built pre-1950 and the desert is hard on a home!). The location is convenient to get to anywhere in town or the Caverns.
