"The house was clean and comfortable with a welcome treat. All amenities that you would need were provided. It was family friendly with plenty of beds, toys for younger children and a play set outside. A pack and play would have been nice. There were beautiful views on our morning walks with the temple across the street. I would definitely stay here again."

The short drive to Waterton park allowed quick access to the beautiful walking trails and boat tours of Waterton Lake! The playground was great, our granddaughter enjoyed it very much. The evenings were so quiet. The house was clean and comfortable and well stocked with necessities."

"We had an excellent stay at Payne Lake Cabin! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The peaceful lakeside setting was perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Everything we needed was provided, and the surroundings were beautiful. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience smooth from check-in to check-out. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend Payne Lake Cabin to anyone looking for a quiet and memorable getaway. We look forward to coming back!"

"We really enjoyed staying here. Close enough to Waterton, Cameron Lake, Red Rock Canyon, and all the things we wanted to see. There's a convenience store in Mountain View, about 5 mins drive, has gasoline, ice cream, chips, candy, etc. The kids enjoyed the playground/obstacle course and basketball. The grounds are well-maintained. There are only a handful of "Wilderness huts" at the site. The rest are campers. We stayed in Wolf's Lair - kids shared the upstairs loft. The unit has a 1/2 bath - had handsoap but it didn't need to have shampoo and conditioner. The showers are conveniently located steps away from the unit. Not sure if it has soap/shampoo and conditioner (probably not, bring your own?) The host provided lots of kitchen and bath towels. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bbq grill on the deck, and the electric stove inside worked really great. Bring citronella to combat mosquitos if you wanna eat on the deck. The private firepit outside was lovely. Ask the host for firestarter. Lastly, the sunset on a summer day paints the lake a beautiful gold. We would stay here again."
