I do recommend bringing bottled water, as the tap water wasn’t the best. I like that it feels “off grid” but there are plenty of activities close to enjoy, as well. "

"Great cabin; clean, and cozy and private. The hot tub and fire pit were used daily. There are trails on the property. We went to Giant Park which is close; don’t miss the fried chicken at the lodge. We drove about 1.5 hours hike the observation trail at Garden of Gods; well worth the drive! Carbondale is a short drive; great time chilling at cabin !!"
