" First of all, if you are driving, this is not located in the town on San Vero Mills, but in the town of Putzu Idu. It can be confusing as SVM is a town and an area. Once we stayed here a few days I wished we had not chosen this spot. There are such better towns and beaches just north with much more to do and much prettier towns and beaches. "The property is located at the top of a small cove/bay. It is easy enough to walk down to the sea front and there are a couple of bars and places to eat. The beach is a mix of stones and sand, but a shallow incline into the sea, which offers some great snorkelling opportunities. Plenty of fish, who don't seem that bothered by humans so you can swim along with them. The hotel offers a great breakfast and the restaurant is perfect for an evening meal if you have had a pool day and don't fancy...

"Staying here was so relaxing. The staff were amazing, the food was quite delicious, the ambience was great. It was so nice to just wake up in the morning and walk down the stairs to the beach. I had the only single room in place, which was sort of like a dorm room, but all I really needed. Overall, I would totally recommend this place."

"Sa Pedrera is a lovely hotel run by marvelous and very personal innkeepers. The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable, and the courtyard with its fountain a relaxing place to end the day. The restaurant was marvelous, very delicious and genuine Sardinian cuisine and also very attentive to food allergies as the owners have a son who is celiac.. The son has a restaurant in town with gluten free pizza and we were very sorry we ran out of time to eat there as well. It was an easy drive to many...
