"We had an amazing experience staying at Shenstone Motor Inn. The staff recommended several places to visit, and thanks to their suggestions, we had some of the best experiences during our trip to Tobermory.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Although it’s a small property, the people at the front desk have the biggest hearts and truly make every guest feel special. Their hospitality deserves 11 out of 10 stars!
The owner even offered us a bonfire, which made our evening even more enjoyable and memorable. That thoughtful gesture really showed how much they care about their guests.
I would definitely recommend Shenstone Motor Inn to anyone visiting Tobermory. If you want to enjoy not only the beautiful area but also warm and genuine hospitality, this is the perfect place to stay."
Beautiful Georgian Bay Waterfront: Amazing Escarpment & Island Views/ EV Charger
10/10 Excellent
"The property was absolutely gorgeous! This spot is near enough to Wiarton for basic shopping and restaurants as well as the main highways to explore the rest of the peninsula are while feeling away from it all. The house and property are very clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. The property owner was very communicative and super helpful, he worked with us on a last-minute booking due to another property canceling and was so kind and helpful! Highly highly recommended."
"The location of Lions Beach Motel is hard to beat. It was close to everything we wanted to explore, and getting around was quick and easy. The room was clean, and Rohit was a super helpful host who was always available if we needed anything. My only suggestion would be to add air conditioning. We visited during 30°C+ weather, and the room got quite warm. we were sleepless through the night although we were provided with extra fans when asked for. Other than that, we had a great stay and would definitely come back."
"I needed a no-frills place to sleep so I could pick up campers at Camp Celtic. My room was very clean, the bed was comfortable enough, the air conditioning worked really awesome, and there was a fridge, microwave, and Kettle. The cupboard stored extra pillows and a blanket. I had more than enough towels and hand towels, a bathmat and face cloths. Water pressure and temperature was great.
The other guests were quiet, respectful, and friendly, the patio area was clean and welcoming, chairs and picnic tsbles with umbrellas provided. Checkin and checkout were seamless and the owners were great.
If I have to say one negative, the toilet is really close to the wall in this unit. 😆
I appreciated the affordable price and cleanliness the most!
Wifi is the best inside the room and cell service is hit or miss.. even in town.
Thanks for a great stay!"
