"The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were good. I slept very well here. The breakfast was good, as long as you are not gluten free. Had to ask for bread which is ok I don’t mind that, but it was like it was a chore to be asked.
When it says budget it is budget. It is like a lower class Travelodge for the British among the readers. There is no kettle or fridge in the room, I do think there is room for both. You get hot water from downstairs, but sometimes there were no cups. If you ask the staff they are not always very helpful or maybe I just asked the wrong ones. There was no milk or teabags or coffee to go with the hot water. There is a supermarket next door. It is a 15 minutes walk from the train station. The area is safe, female solo traveller. If you arrive before check in you have to pay 3CHF per bag, to leave your bag. There is no charge on leaving. There is a bus right outside the door so you can use your city pass for this, you get it free at check in. I do think some amenities could be added and some staff need some staff training in customer service."
