"They room was clean.The remote had some unidentified black yuck on it. I paid for a lake view room, and we were given a lake view room with the view obscured by the event tent. I don’t feel that we should have been charged for a lake view room."

"Stayed here with my wife while taking a short break away. Check in and out were easy. A great location with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The room was clean along with the entire hotel. We never used the pool but it did look nice. We never took advantage of the free breakfast either but it looked sufficient for a light breakfast on the fly. The only complaint I would have would be the beds, which were quite firm for our liking. Usually Best Western has great beds. Maybe we were just late in the rotation of old to new mattresses. We slept fine though in this quiet location. Shower pressure was more than adequate. I would stay here again as the value factor was there."

"Beautiful Victorian house just 2 miles from downtown Canadaigua NY and the lake. Outdoor sitting gardens are perfect for relaxing. This house and all the rooms are exquisite. Although we didn't have the breakfast, we were told by other guests that it's simply amazing."

"The best thing about this listing was the location (right on Lake, close to town). Other pros: Kayaks (which my kids loved), timely communication with Owner, Well equipped Kitchen, Lots of outdoor space, ease of check in. TV setup. Plenty of linens. The views. Laundry was great. Gas Grill with extra Propane Tank.Cons: Bathroom (using the toilet was hard for a bigger guy like myself), Kitchen prep space (counters small - out door picnic table was great), Main bed was uncomfortable for my wife (I was fine). Not a lot of storage space in the bedrooms.Overall, great location for my family and it was exactly as advertised. I would stay here again."
