"Staying at Hotel Tren Maya Calakmul, was a brilliant experience. We arrived at the Tren Maya Station Calakmul and the transportation from the hotel was already waiting for us, they were expecting us without specific transportation arrangements. They’ll know you will arrive if you made a reservation. The trip from the station to the hotel is about an hour on a well paved maintained road. "There is not much to see in the area. The bathroom smelled bad. I poured some listerine down the sink and shower drain and that helped. But there was plenty of hot water. The listing says laundry facilities but it is only a service that they wash for you and get it back later. The room was clean but it was a little noisy with dogs barking at night. "
