Hotel Europa

"From the airport taxi driver the hotel had organised for us, the warm welcome,our room ready early.The receptionist who gave us lots of info, all so helpful and careing. The room was very very large.There was a small balcony which we did find a little disappointing but that was all.Clean towels etc plus housekeeping daily. The breakfast was great and did not close till 10am. The pool was clean and bar service so good planty of loungers. We would recommend this hotel as a lovely place to stay. Its near the beach and just a taxi ride to the station for trains to Pisa and Florence"

"This small hotel is real gem in a very good location just a short stroll from the beautiful beach of Camaiore. We travelled by motorcycle which we were able to park on hardstanding off the gravel courtyard. We were welcomed by the owner, a true Italian Nonna who could speak only a few words of English but that didn’t matter because we all understood each other nonetheless. She was very kind and helpful and showed us our room (20) which was probably the best in the building with a small balcony and distant sea view. It’s not a flashy hotel but it’s very homely and even has a lift and air con. Breakfast was typical Italian with lots of cake but also boiled eggs to keep us Brits happy. We loved this hotel and will definitely return if we come back to this region. Lido de Camaiore is a really nice resort and much less rowdy than its neighbour Viareggio. Wall to wall sunbeds on beach but we came in off season and it was just perfect."

"Wonderful hotel and a lot of parking, which is suitable for supercars. Swimming poo, breakfast sitting and the pool bar were excellent. The only disappointment was there was no coffee maker or a kettle in the room and the safe was very small, good to keep passports in but not much more. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would ho back again."

"The problem with trying to give this property a rating is that the VRBO scale doesn’t go high enough! What an outstanding experience at this magical spot in beautiful Camaiore, Tuscany! The hosts Angela and Simone are incredible - providing a 5-star experience on every level. From greeting us when we arrived (now the exception with Vrbo properties), the decorating and attention to detail in the apartment, and the meticulous grounds and pool, we cannot say enough about our time there. Thankfully, we also took advantage of their private, catered dinners that they prepared, which were an absolute treat for the senses. An amazing experience that we will cherish always! We also loved the cooking class. We will make these incredible dishes when we’re home and think of our amazing hosts! We can’t say enough about our time there - it was our absolute favourite spot during our month-long vacation in Europe. Angela and Simone have set what the gold standard should be for hosting and 10/10 is not high enough. We’re already dreaming about our return!"

"This is a great hotel located so close to the beach. The staff is really helpful and accommodating. Convenient parking and an oversized balcony made the stay impeccable. From the corner of the balcony, we could see both the sea and the mountains."

"Ein schönes großes Ferienhaus mit vielen Bädern und reichlich Platz. Tolle, ruhige Lage und gute Ausstattung. Die Auffahrt ist ein kleines Abenteuer, aber machbar und beim 2. Mal klappt's schon gut. Uns - Familie und Freunde - hat es sehr gut gefallen. PS: Die Umgebung ist ein Traum für Rennradfahrer"

"Die Lage am Hügel ist natürlich schön. Camaiore selbst ist ein hübscher Ort mit Restaurants, Bäckereien und Eisdielen, die vom Haus aus fußläufig erreichbar sind. Außerdem gibt es ein paar Wanderwege die wirklich sehr zu empfehlen sind. Ansonsten reicht ein Blick auf Google Maps um zu sehen, dass die Region besser nicht sein könnte. Städte, Berge, Strand. Perfekt! Das Haus war eher rudimentär ausgestattet. Oben ist die einzige dusche in dem Badezimmer, dass nur durch ein anderes Zimmer erreichbar ist. Innen ist es insgesamt nicht besonders luxuriös, aber in Ordnung. Der außen Bereich mit der Terrasse unten und der Wiese oben sind dafür schön. Check in und out liefen reibungslos und freundlich. Die Gastgeberin ist per WhatsApp schnell und einfach erreichbar. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Man muss man sagen, dass man für diesen Preis wohl kaum etwas besseres finden wird."
