"Lovely cosy cottage with gorgeous views. Owner was really friendly checking we’d settled in ok. Great location (as long as you have car) to get to nearby towns and attractions. Shame there wasn’t a pub within walking distance (as the road was too risky to walk on at night), however, the food and staff at the local pub in Yetholm (approx 1.5mile) were lovely and welcoming and food great! The only criticism I’d have of the cottage is that the bathroom and some decor could do with updating, however...

"Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely cottage. Had all we needed. Clean, comfortable and cosy. Fab location for supermarket, bakery, gift shops and loads of restaurants a few steps away.! Short drive to major sightseeing spots too We would definitely stay again and looking into when we can rebook. Ps. Also got to enjoy the outside seating area for a couple of days. A real sun trap "

"Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road. "Despite the wet and windy conditions we really enjoyed our stay and managed to get around to our favourite spots. Steve & Julie provided a lovely starter pack to see us over the first 24 hours. Cottage is superb, with all the amenities you would expect at home. Would recommend it as a base to tour the countryside."
