"Pros: Die Villa Maria liegt wunderbar direkt an einem großen Sandstrand. Eigentlich sogar an mehreren, die sich direkt aneinanderreihen. Wir waren im April da und es war absolut tote Hose (genau das wollten wir aber auch!). An den meisten Tagen hatten wir diese wahnsinnigen Strände komplett für uns. "Pros: Die Wohnung ist im Obergeschosses einer 3-Parteien-Einheit. Sie liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe eines Campingplatzes. Dort besteht die Möglichkeit auch Brot und Brötchen zu bestellen. 3 mal die Woche ist ein Obst und Gemüsehändler in unmittelbarer Nähe. Zum Kiesstrand sind es etwa 100m, klein und fein. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und herzlich. Vielen Dank dass wir Ihre Gäste sein durften."

"We have enjoyed our stay, location was great and there all the shops/restaurants you need in the vicinity. The apartment was okay, we enjoyed the air conditioning and the cleanliness. Beds were quite hard and there is no internet anywhere in the building except at reception. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff was very good there. Overall it is okay but I think we overpaid for our stay especially after seeing the prices much much cheaper before we arrived which is disappointing."

"A wonderful one night stay! Right on the ocean, and a lovely little beach. Loved the large and comfortable room, the view from the dining patio, and the strong air conditioning. The sheets and linens were soft and cozy. The staff allowed me to store my bags, offered me ice water, and time to clean up in the ladies room after returning from an excursion and before heading to my next destination. A lovely hotel, and in the heart of it all yet still retains a private vibe."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Tout s’est parfaitement bien déroulé. La maison est très agréable, confortable et décorée avec goût. La propreté était irréprochable à notre arrivée, ce qui est très appréciable. La proximité avec la magnifique plage de Cala Ginepro est un véritable atout et permet d’en profiter facilement. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésiter et y reviendrions avec plaisir."

"We were absolutely elated by this place! Cala Gonone exceeded our expectations in terms of a beautiful coastal area that isn't mobbed like some other portions of Italy. Hotel Miramare is beautiful and right next to the beach. Parking was a little unclear and we got a ticket, so be aware of parking rules and finding a spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful with many suggestions. Our room was fantastic - complete with TWO balconies. The south balcony was a bit warm for our tastes but the east balcony (facing the beach) was shady and comfortable. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We asked for extra pillows, which they promptly brought to us. We enjoyed the outdoor grill for dinner one night and really enjoyed the preparations. The breakfast buffet in the morning had all of the fruits, meats, perfectly-prepared eggs and pastries we could hope for, and the staff graciously let us get an early start on breakfast the morning we rented a boat. The atmosphere throughout was light, clean and uplifting, enhanced by the ultra-friendly staff. It's not even a question that we will return here on our next trip to Sardinia."
