"The hotel is in a fantastic location and has a lot of potential, but it needs significant investment and attention before we would return. The rooms are a good size, but the facilities are very limited, with many empty or underused spaces and it felt soulless because of that. The pool table my children hoped to use was broken, and there was little else for them to do after it got dark. Food was also a major issue. "Rooms were nicely decorated however for a 5* resorts I was expecting the bathrooms to be modern and beautiful. They were not! And also we found (we had 3 rooms) mould in all showers. Reception and staff from La Mesa were very friendly however staff at the pool bar were not nice and cocktails were not up to the quality we expected from again a 5* resort. Very noisy due to school hols and kids take over all amenities. We will not be back as it didn’t provide value for our money and it was not a 5*...

"Walls are so thin you can hear the neighbors breathing. I tried working out in the morning and was told to shut up by neighbors. Had a call at 5am in my room, regular volume was made (it was a work call); again neighbors freaked out because it woke them. I also could not use the tv as it was attached to the wall, max volume I could go was 20 out of 100 before the neighbor Complained. Walls are as thin as can be, all can be heard, and yes I mean (all). I reported this to the staff of course....
