"This was the highlight of our trip to the midi-Pyrenees. Set in a tiny village in rolling hills, close to many delightful medieval towns and the amazing city of Albi. (best to locate on google maps on phone - not the TomTom) Isabelle made us very welcome - she emailed me 2 days before to ask what time to expect us, if we wished to have dinner, and any food preferences.. It was very clean and quiet and had a warm swimming pool. Her cooking was outstanding. "

"Would not recommend the family suite (the room in the turret) - there is no aircon in the bedrooms and the space is oppressive and really dangerous for kids: there is a floor level window with no ability to lock it and a sheer drop on the other side. Totally inappropriate to our families with small children in this room. We asked to swap rooms but they could not accommodate - even though the property was definitely not at capacity. "This place is absolutely delightful. Such an amazing location and very unique. The hosts are so helpful and the breakfast in the gardens is wonderful. A couple of things to note, there are many stairs and a hill to access (on narrow roads) and if you're used to air conditioning for the summer heat, be aware as there is a ceiling fan only. It was a fabulous, relaxing stay."
