"Rooms are designed to make maximum advantage of the location with sea views on both sides. Bathrooms - bath & shower were excellent. Pool area is pretty good and breakfast is impressive in a great space.
The gym is pathetic - too depressing to even consider using. Limited and outmoded equipment. A disgrace."

"Nice hotel in a good location, lots of history. Parts of the hotel and rooms require maintenance and updating. Food was good, we had an evening meal and breakfast and choices and quality were pretty good. Overall the hotel is clinging on to 4* status but but still good value for money. We found the staff in every part of the hotel to be polite and friendly and professional."
