"The hotel is very falsely advertised. The room is very small to the point of being very cramped for even one person. For what you pay a night you could get a room twice as big. The listing advertised soundproofing but the soundproofing is nonexistent. You hear everything the people around you are doing even flushing the toilet. I was on a higher floor but the street noise was still pretty loud so I'm assuming it's even worse on a lower floor. I got the room for the "city view" but the only thing...

"Lovely hotel with very helpful staff on reception, with a very quick and efficient check in. Room was very modern and spacious. Large bathroom with seperate shower, toilet and large bath. Location fabulous for getting around Sydney, close to station and light rail. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars close by."

"I love how the modern and chic room blends well with the historical building. It is also a 2-minute walk from Museum Station which is where the airport line (T8) stops at. The train ride from the domestic and international airports is very short and costs only AUD1."

"We loved our stay at the Kimpton Margot Hotel, location is so close to train , rail, metro and bus. The hotel building was beautiful, and the staff super helpful. So many unexpected "extras" , from the free bikes to rent, juice in the morning, and complimentary "happy hour". We would not hesitate to return. One of our favourite hotel stays!"

Als wir erwähnt haben, dass wir uns auf Hochzeitsreise befinden und unser ursprüngliches Zimmer innenliegend war, haben wir sofort und völlig unkompliziert ein Upgrade auf ein anderes Zimmer erhalten. "Hotel are very old, tiles are broken in the standing shower. I can hear people walking above my floor around 1 am to 2:30 am. Next door the bell ring can hear it. Not worthy of the price."
