"The hotel was perfectly located for our visit to Buxton Opera House. The hotel was beautifully decorated with lots of interesting furnishings. The host was very welcoming, friendly and informative. Our room was lovely with all the necessary amenities. The four poster bed was very comfortable. There was lots of choice for the vegetarian breakfast, good portion size and delicious. Will definitely book again when we next go to Buxton."

"The house is about 15 minutes walk from the train station in a quiet area. It took a couple of goes to gain entry using the touchpad. The room was clean and a good size. Bed was comfortable, although quite high. There is a good cafe, Eat at Number 5, at the end of the street."
