The property itself did need some updating as the carpets and furniture had a musty smell to them due to age. The pillows and bed linen did not smell fresh either. "The man who checked us in did not seem happy to see us. Usually, staff are welcoming and friendly. Not this guy. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a beautiful view of the lake. For the best view, you need to be higher than the second floor. There were no creamers for the coffee at the pantry. I checked 3 different floors and notified the front desk. It may seem like a minor inconvenience, but when you are in a hurry and need to drive a long distance, it's a problem."
