"My wife and I stayed for two nights while visiting the Cooperstown area. The text-based communication on our room availability and access code worked well for us. We got there late and the streamlined, counterless check-in was perfect for our late-night arrival. The parking looked to be a bit staggered, as we had to park away from our room a bit, but no matter for us. Our two-bed room was very clean and had a nice size small fridge for our travel food and a microwave to heat them back up for a snack. The beds and sheets/comforter were super comfortable and the in-room air conditioning worked effortlessly. The bathroom was also very clean and the shower head was awesome. We enjoyed our stay and let our friends and relatives know of this place and will look to be back the next time we’re visiting. Thanks!"

"Wonderful place to stay, old building with lots of character. Rooms were spaceous. Lake was right there. There was a concert that evening but it was not too loud and was finished by 10pm and we were able to sleep. The restaurant was a good place to grab dinner. Staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating, we had a special request and they really helped us out. Our room fit 5 comfortably - 2 large beds and a twin size bed."

"Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!"

"The cottage was a great place to take our family for an end of summer getaway. We all enjoyed the lake, kayaking, fishing and the camp fire. It was also close and convenient to all the activities we had planned in Cooperstown!!"

"Very easy to find. Excellent location, nice neighborhood. Very clean and roomy.Perfect for what we needed for the night on the road.The property description is clear about a permanent tenant upstairs, so the noise late at night wasn't a shock."

"The house was clean and beautifully decorated. It was exactly what we needed, centrally located to the baseball tournament we attended. The only issue that we had is that we drove 12 hrs to get there, arriving at 9:00 pm. We still had not received the check-in information. I had to contact the host, while we stood next to my car in the dark, waiting for the host to respond, not knowing how long that was going to be. Luckily he responded within minutes and we were able to get in. But it would have been a lot smoother had we had the information the day before, or even earlier in the day."
