"Great breaky choices and it was lovely to relax in and around the pool after going out nearby. I do think the pool area needs more umbrellas for shade options.
Housekeeping staff were wonderful, friendly and thought of everything we needed before we even asked. Kader in particular stood out for his professional demeanour, helpfulness and friendliness. We will be back again and recommending to friends."
"Great location - next to Petronas Towers. Short walk to bars, restaurants, shopping mall and metro station. We stayed in a club room and the club lounge was like an oasis - lovely food and drinks with perfect views from the 24th floor. Swimming pool area was lovely - got very busy but always managed to find a sunbed. Staff were exceptional, particular the lovely man from Penang in the club lounge (sorry can’t remember his name) and the doormen. Only slight disappointment was breakfast - just didn’t do it for me. Would go back in a heartbeat."
"Breakfast: staff are hardworking, although you can see in their faces that they are quite exhausted. I appreciate all the dining staff for your dedication for this job.
Quite a variety of food, it was average; not great! They ran out of roti one time, had to use packaged. Hey, at least, they provided. Pancakes, meh; Jams, Kaya, not good. Omelette station - good! Malaysian food - just ok. Fried rice was bland, Noodles were not great. My favourite were the fresh cut fruits, loaded on those! Guava juice, superb! Lamb dish - super great! Stick to this when you visit. Coffee - meh. Elevators are super busy, some guests are rude. If you want a peaceful breakfast, go before 0800.
Pool: a bit cold for us, as it was quite raining & thunderstorms. Although, summer time, this will be a great place to spend your afternoons after a long walk.
Rooms: We stayed x 4 nights, our linens were never changed. Pillows are horrible, too soft, overused and flat. Bath towels are clean but not white, over used. Too much dust in our room. If you inspect the windowsills, layer of dusts are present. Not great for those who have allergies.
Lemongrass tea: I was always looking forward to have this drink in the afternoon, drank couple of glasses before heading to our room.
Concierge/Valet/Doorman: all great, happy smiles.
Manager: wish he would get up and help his staff instead of always being seen on the computer. I know you have things to do too.
Photos in Expedia: that by the pool.
Sauna: nice"
"We had a wonderful stay at Star Suites KLCC and would happily return.
The view was absolutely stunning — waking up to the KL skyline and Petronas Twin Towers each morning was a real highlight. The oversized king bed was incredibly comfortable (easily one of the best parts of the stay), and the amenities in the apartment were modern, clean and thoughtfully presented. The space felt luxurious yet relaxed, and overall it was a fantastic base in KL.
There were just a few small areas for improvement. The kitchen had limited utensils, and while the tea selection was lovely, it was loose leaf with no strainer provided. A simple addition like that would have made a big difference. We also would have appreciated a compendium or even a small sign explaining where to find the pools, bar and other facilities — as first-time guests, it wasn’t immediately clear.
Our room key unfortunately locked us out four times, which was a little frustrating. The team did send someone up promptly to change the battery (which we appreciated), though an apology at check-in would have gone a long way.
That said, these were small things in what was otherwise a really enjoyable stay. The comfort, the view, and the overall quality of the apartment made it a wonderful experience. We’d definitely recommend it to others looking for a stylish and comfortable place to stay in KL"

10/10 Excellent
"From the moment i arrived at the hotel i was
received very well.
All staff were respectful, courteous and friendly.
Check-in was great.
All check-in and information about the hotel and its amenities was communicated to me.
Sadly i am checking out today.
I would like to once again send my thanks to all of the staff for a wonderful and memorable stay.
Sorry i don't remember everyone's name except for
Yusrizal and Wan from Concierge department. Hope i spelled your names correctly.
Thanks everyone once again.
Will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends. "
"Plus points Great location, great views, great concierge and staff support at the entrance, breakfast has a good selection of foods from across the region.
Bad points. Check in, had two check in twice as original staff member didn't do it correctly. Gym smaller side for the size of hotels, part of the gym is not 24/7 which limits space for those who want to do yoga / stretch. Amenities unbranded, in hotel branded bottles so unable t check ingredients.
No response to feedback left on either ants or bugs in the room, including a note highlighting this and bites."
