"The ladies on reception were so lovely. Friendly and very helpful advising on gpod eating places and places to visit. The bedroom was clean with very comfortable bed. Sadly the hotel is in need of tlc it showed the signs of great potential and could offer a wonderful eating and drinking venue if developed. The price was very reasonable given the standard of the amenities and a place to certainly use if only needing a base"
Modern Fisherman's Cottage with Stunning Uninterrupted Views of the Moray Firth

"We have stayed at this cottage several times and really love it. Its major selling point is its location, opposite the slip shore in Findochty a few steps away from a small beach, a green with benches and tables and amazing views - ships, boats and dolphins passing by regularly. The cottage itself is well equipped and comfortable with everything you need for a self catering stay. Beds are comfortable and shower is good. Findochty is a lovely peaceful, calm place, very friendly people and great if you enjoy walking. We will definitely be going back."

"Very convenient location for our requirements. The bed was very comfortable and we had a fabulous sleep. The bar staff were knowledgeable and friendly and the whisky choice was amazing. Breakfast had to be pre-ordered and we weren’t sure how it would be, but it was excellent. Especially the Greek yoghurt and berries with honey. Portions were generous and we struggled to eat everything."
