"The room was clean, the air conditioner worked well and wasn’t noisy. The bed pillows were very comfortable, not ones that push your head up. The light blocking curtains did their job well. In the parking lot, there is a fenced in area for letting your dog run, which we greatly appreciated! The staff at breakfast were very accommodating and opened a can of fruit I had brought with me. The hotel is located in the parking lot of a truck stop, so we asked for a room on the front far end so we wouldn’t hear the trucks running all night. The only negatives were that the landscaping needs weeding, and the bed was definitely on the firm side. My husband had no problem with it, but if you prefer a soft bed you may not sleep well. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay here."

"La chambre était propre. Nous avons aimé nous baigner dans la piscine à l’extérieur et souper à l’extérieur. Il y a plusieurs options de restos près de l’hôtel. Le prix était très bon et l’endroit est très bien. Nous avons aimé le déjeuner. Il y a un Dollar Tree près de l’hôtel pour les achats de dernière minute. À noter: Nous sommes très près de l’autoroute donc on entend le trafic sur la 81. Je dois dire que nous avons entendu les personnes dans la chambre adjacente."

"Extended Stay by Wyndham Chambersburg is conveniently located near Route 81 in an area with many stores and restaurants nearby and only a short drive to Gettysburg. The suite was huge, probably twice the size of a regular hotel room. The kitchenette had everything needed for light cooking. We didn't make any meals here, but used the refrigerator and microwave. We enjoyed the breakfast during our stay. It was served promptly at 6:00 both days. There was a large variety to choose from. The hotel was clean and everything looked new. It almost seemed like this room had never been used. Everything was in working order. One negative here would be it took a long time to get hot water when showering. Also, whoever painted was a little messy, getting white trim paint on the walls and other surfaces, especially noticeable in the bathroom. Also in the bathroom, there were no grab bars or other preventative measures to prevent falls in the slippery bathtub."
