The cave and waterfall are fascinating features, and the forest is magnificent. Life is quiet at the campground.

If you rent the cabins, don’t smoke inside. Bear Cave is beautiful but for that expensive of a trip I better be able to smoke where I want. Even on the front porch is fine.

It had AC which was a great break from the humid hot weather outside. Online it said linen would be provided but it wasn’t until the day of that we found out there wasn’t any because of Covid so that sucked because we had to go search for some. Specific kitchen amenities weren’t listed but they had everything-oven, refrigerator, microwave, and a toaster. There were even plates, bowls, and utensils.

Wish we could have stayed longer

We stayed in one of the cabins. The campground is filled mostly with RV. The cabin was very clean and had all the basic amenities. We just needed a place to stay, which it provided very adequately for our family with kids, but could have been a place to stay at and enjoy with the pool, river, and other possibilities for activities on the campground.

Price was right

Cabin was not that clean overall. Lacked enough bedding and towels. Beds were not comfortable. Ants in kitchen. Hit water not always available. Good heater, nice screened in porch, plenty of dishes and cookware. Recently updated.
