"The staff were very friendly and happy to help. Brilliant location, right next to the Haymarket train and tram stations. Good links for buses and taxis too. Platform 5 pub attached to the hotel is very good, pleasant atmosphere, food and drinks. The room could have been a bit cleaner, in particular the floors. The duvet was incredibly thick, coupled with the fact the windows were screwed shut and the air conditioning would only go to a minimum of 20 degrees, it made for quite a warm night."

"Checked in and sent to a room that was already occupied . The second room had hairs in the sink and the shower wouldn’t heat up enough. Not a great stay. Messaged the hotel to complain - no response!"

Good bus routes to airport and city and beyond… Few things could have been better, room could have been cleaned more throughly, could do with drinking glasses in room. Unfortunately some towels had stains on and we had to get them changed. The water pressure and temperature in our shower wasn't the best but it was functional. The one thing that would put us off of staying again was the underlying smell of old fried oil throughout the whole place For that reason we didnt eat at the property.
