"The Good: Silvan saved this review. He was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. My son had a medication that needed to be refrigerated and he ensured that it was and that all staff knew about it so I could get it at any time. When we needed to be assigned a new room, he understood. He didn’t try to convince me I was wrong or fight me- he was just happy to make us happy. We thank you so much Silvan!
The breakfast was also very good and coffee anytime you want it definitely a plus. They have the hospitality down!
The location is great! Right next to the train station and easy walk to old town.
The bad: When we first checked in we were given a family room on the old side of the hotel. It was horrific. Stains on the bed frame itself, a bathroom that the entire floor was the shower, and mold everywhere- I was afraid to touch anything. We were then given a room on the “renovated side” which although much cleaner didn’t have the extra bed we paid for! My husband and I had to share a queen size bed with our son. To top things off they give one pillow and it is too flat! We were not comfortable at all. I am still waiting on my partial refund for the fact that we paid for an extra bed for our son we never got.
***Note that renovations are going on next to the hotel and they start at 7am! Wish it was mentioned before we stayed. I know it is not something the hotel has control over so I do not hold it against them at all! I just wish we knew before hand.
