"We only stayed for one night but were really struck by how helpful and friendly. all the staff we encountered were. Our room was very comfortable with complimentary tea and coffee (including decaff which is always a plus as I usually have to ask). One of the bedside lights was not working but we mentioned it to the bar staff after our evening meal and had only just got back to our room when someone arrived to fix it. Our only criticism is that the bathroom was very dated - haven't seen a coloured sink and toilet for years. The food in the restaurant was excellent and plentiful."
