"We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. Its elevated position offers fantastic views over the harbour and it's just a short walk from all the shops, bars, and restaurants, making it an ideal location.
Although our room was quite small, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a real highlight – freshly cooked to order and absolutely delicious, with an excellent selection of cereals, toast, pastries, fruit, and yogurt available for guests to help themselves.
Every member of staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We also loved that the hotel is dog-friendly.
The hotel is full of character, housed in a beautiful period building. While parts of it could benefit from some refurbishment, we felt this only added to its unique charm and atmosphere.
Parking isn't available directly outside the hotel, but the staff kindly reserved a parking space for us by the harbour. It's accessed via a fairly steep flight of steps, although it's also possible to walk up and down the hill. There is also a convenient loading bay near the entrance, which made dropping off and collecting our luggage at check-in and check-out quick and easy.
Overall, this is a delightful hotel in a superb location, with outstanding hospitality and an excellent breakfast. We would happily stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it."
