I enjoyed everything about my stay. Excellent room, good facilities, very friendly staff and a delicious (and filling) breakfast. You can’t beat the location. Right in the center of Holt.

Such a unique hotel! Loved the pub downstairs. Staff and patrons were very nice and fun to talk to. Breakfast was amazing… not only the usual buffet of food, but you could also order off the breakfast menu, everything included with your stay. Our room was small, but fine for a night; the bed was comfortable.

We stayed in Room 1. It was spotless and spacious with tea and coffee and bottled water. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was outstanding with a good selection of hot and cold options including full and small English to healthy vegetarian options. We chose The Ship Inn because of its location within walking distance to the beach and the ability to easily get on walking trails. Perfect for a couple a night or weekend- awesome food and pub - like living history!

We booked this hotel for a family celebration! The staff went above and beyond, decorating the table, accommodating complex dietary needs, making sure everything was perfect in our rooms. Rooms were clean and well furnished, modern bathroom. Would love to return and experience the gardens in the summer

The staff were wonderful and the room was excellent great, very comfortable beds and bedding and yes it makes a difference. Great breakfast and the service was so warm and friendly Great spot!

The owner greeted me and offered to help carry my bag up to the room. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated
