"We deliberately wanted a kitchen - which we had but nothing in it ie no crockery, cutlery, pots or pans so effectively useless; we constantly received contradictory emails about precheckin etc including one saying ready for checking the day after we already had, another telling us to checkout a day early; the room faced west and was impossibly to sleep in as too hot; we had to request a second towel as only gave us one; Would not recommend this at all"

"On arrival I was asked for my ID or credit card in the name I booked under. I purposely didn't bring any as I was in Bristol and there are certain cities I don't bring ID to - Bristol is one. I paid in advance to avoid needing to bring ID or the credit card. I had my booking number and email confirmation. I was told when checking in I needed evidence of my ID. "Jonny, the host was friendly, courteous and very helpful. Cannot be faulted. Room and en suite basic, but bed clean and comfortable. Plenty of storage drawers, small table and chairs a nice touch. Shower room small but clean, with good shower pressure. Although above a pub, the rooms are unexpectedly quiet. Budget-friendly - if you want all the “bells & whistles”, then you’d have to pay much more for a room. Well worth the money."

"Had 2 rooms booked for 2 nights Reception were helpful on checking in but the rooms were in separate buildings which was annoying for us and both on second floor so difficult with luggage on steep stairs. The double room had no TV remote and the soap by the hand basin didn’t work . They fixed it the next day but these should be checked prior to arrival !
