Enjoy this secluded 4-bedroom 2-bathroom home nestled in the woods! In a central location just outside of Bristol, this home is located 10 minutes from Middlebury, 20 from Shipshewana and about 40 from NOTRE DAME!!! Have a barbecue on the front porch with gas grill and sitting area. Enjoy a peaceful setting on the back deck overlooking the woods. Or roast marshmallows and have a relaxing evening sitting around the fire pit, wood supplied!

The house is perfect. 6 friends and a dog… great place to hang while everyone had their own areas to also get down time. Loved the location and Linda is the best host. We’ll be back next time we are in the area! We highly recommend.

We had all the room we needed to accommodate the entire family. It was a lovely location, everything was clean and comfortable. Linda was very responsive to my questions and concerns and answered in a timely manner. The kids enjoyed the basement facilities. We had a wonderful Christmas experience!!

Nice quiet property in the woods. Secluded, but close to anything you need. Had a couple fires, grilled a couple times, and enjoyed the first floor and lower level areas to hang out. Would recommend.

We needed a place to stay while we had service work done on our RV. House was very comfortable, away from other houses, nice pond and wooded area, close to restaurants, and the yard was the perfect size for our dog (away from the road and neighbors). Owners were great at responding very quickly to any inquiries, both prior to and during our stay.

The only sounds were the crickets and frogs. Peaceful and relaxing yet quite close to all sorts of things to do. Numerous places for games, puzzles, or crafts. We highly recommend Essenhaus for a traditional dinner meal.

This home was even more spacious than the photos suggested. It would be perfect for a larger group or family with its four comfortable bedrooms. The setting was absolutely gorgeous and private, tucked away on a heavily wooded lot that was spectacular with the fall colors. I really appreciated the small exercise room with an elliptical and weights, as well as the separate office space, which was ideal since I work remotely. Being able to park in the garage on rainy days was a bonus, too. The host was very responsive to my questions and kindly allowed me to add an extra day at the end of my stay. I’d love to return!
