"What a find! A little place steeped in history, pub on the doorstep and Wells next the Sea just 5 minutes away. If you love cricket and horses, then this is about perfect! Lots of little details catered for: welcome pack; toiletries; lots of outdoor seating; dog treats; hairdryer; corkscrew and a comfy bed. The hot tub is welcome after a day of exploring. Had a super stay - thank you."

"We had a fantastic long weekend at Cranmer. It’s a perfect base for lots to do in the surrounding area and the accommodation works very well. Having the designated times for the pool is very sensible and having the pool to yourself for your hour is great!"

"If you're looking for a quiet seaside break in a hotel with a bit of history this is a lovely place to try. The large garden has a clifftop view of the sea and a it's only a short walk down to the beach. It's a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy an afternoon tea or cocktail with friends. If you head away from Cromer, the beaches are sandy and largely empty.
The staff were very friendly and an evening meal in the restaurant was relaxed and tasty,
The building dates from the early 1900s, but has modern facilities without spoiling the character or history."
"Lovely 3 night stay. Rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. We booked two rooms and were assigned one in the courtyard and one in the main building. Bathroom in the courtyard room was significant bigger but otherwise rooms were comparable. Great location. Definitely recommend booking with breakfast included. The breakfast was delicious and included a cooked breakfast item from the menu as well as the buffet style yogurt, pastries, toast, fruit etc. The homemade compote was absolutely delicious!"
"The room was clean and light, spacious. The bed was large although I found rather hard but maybe that was just me. Generous portions of shower gel and tea/coffee
The manager was very helpful and friendly
The meal I had was very generous and tasty
All in all very good value for money
Very well done"
"We have just returned from the most wonderful four-day stay at The Harper Hotel and honestly cannot praise it enough.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Keith greeted us and showed us to our room, Room 211, which was absolutely lovely. It is right at the end of the corridor, so it was incredibly quiet, which was perfect for us. The room itself was beautiful, and all the little extras made such a difference, from the bottled water and crisps to the homemade cookies. It was those thoughtful touches that made us feel looked after straight away.
We ate at the hotel every evening, and the food was excellent. We tried both the restaurant and the bar food and genuinely could not fault anything. Everything was beautifully cooked, and the whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable.
The staff really made the stay for us. Everyone was friendly, warm and helpful without ever being over the top. We loved the way the staff interacted with the guests. It felt very informal and relaxed, yet at the same time extremely professional, which is quite a difficult balance to get right.
A big thank you to Andrew, the General Manager, because whatever he is doing with his team, it works. There is such a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel, and you can tell that the staff genuinely care about the people staying there.
The spa was wonderful too, and the hotel is in a fantastic location, close to everything we wanted to visit.
My sister and I travel all over the world"
"Just had a wonderful stay at The Pheasant, Holt, Norfolk.
The hotel was very comfortable, lovely bedrooms and equally lovely seating areas downstairs.
We were out and about most of the time, as one would expect to be on a short vacation however, the ambience and comfort when at the hotel was simply wonderful.
As for the staff:-just beautiful and helpful- each and every staff member is. They simply made our stay. Thank you and hope to visit again soon.

"Great Hotel! Room was lovely and clean, breakfast was as expected and everything you may need was available, even catered for dietary requirements. Parking cost reasonable at £5 per night. Staff friendly & helpful."
"Stayed at The Royal Hotel in Mundesly(its not Norwich at all) for three nights over the August Bank Holiday. We cannot praise it enough. The staff were excellent. We witnessed customer care that went above the norm. We would name Will, attentive, friendly and efficient in the bar and restaurant area. The chef, Nita, who looked after breakfast and the restaurant. We witnessed her offer to fetch an elderly guest toast despite being very busy. She interacted with everyone whilst cooking, clearing and serving all with a friendly smile. We saw with a lot of the staff, the excellent Sunday carvery, thete were staff on the floor helping everyone with their meals. Unable to name them all but thete was, I think, two Emma's who were engaging with customers. It was so nice to see. The food was excellent, the aforementioned carvery, the breakfasts and we have to mention our Ssturday night meal...they have a Thai menu, I believe cooked by Nita. It was fabulous. Plentiful fresh and tasty and, again served by some well trained young staff.
Our room was clean
The bed large and conformable and an excellent shower. We like a short break to supplement our foreign holidays each year and we are pretty certain we will be returning here."
