"So much history in this hotel and we enjoyed the tour we were given of the cellar. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is older but we loved the location and appreciated the helpfulness of the staff. "

"Didn’t have the breakfast, but the hotel itself is very convenient. We had the 3 bed room and it was perfect for our needs. Room was clean. Bathroom in good condition and it is so central you are in the centre of Brighton in less than 15 mins walk. If I had to pick a negative, there are dormitory type rooms as well and one was opposite our room which meant people coming and going at all times of the night, but it is only a door opening and shutting, so a small negative when you look at its location and the nice room. Would happily go there again."

"Very roomy clean room with good size bed and excellant shower.Small kitchenette which was not used but handy if you needed to prepare anything. Staff at reception very helpful and cheery which makes a change"
