Absolutely fabulous hotel steeped in history and in beautiful surroundings.
Comfortable room (petite)
A beautiful stay, friendly service, and convenient parking. Room was clean and spacious.
Minor complaint was that the bathroom mirror was too high for my 5' tall wife.
Would definitely stay here again.
Lovely hotel and superb staff. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel in beautiful location with great rooms. Needs more staff and hence service is lacking. Also could do with a decent bar as it would be an amazing place to sit and have adrink.

Service in reception was poor. General service average.
Food was good generally Breakfast was very good.
Relaxed atmosphere throughout hotel. Food great, wine choices exceptionally good. Staff very professional and friendly, helpful (except reception). Room pleasant and spacious. In need of refurbishment but still a very pleasant place to stay.
What did we like?...EVERYTHING
Stunning location with beautiful views, amazing property taking you back to a more gentler time in days gone by, from the moment you drive down the driveway. The attention to detail in our room was impeccable and there was nothing that the staff wouldn't do for you. For a relaxing break away from the norm I can not recommend this place highly enough. Hubby & I will definitely be going back
Llangoed hall was amazing place to stay,we stayed for our anniversary, and we will definitely go back there, the room was stunning 10 out 10 best night sleep in years
An absolutely fabulous hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and it was a stunning setting. The room was perfect and the food was delicious. Will definitely go back again
Stayed for husband’s 60th birthday and had a wonderful time. Room was fantastic and dinner was phenomenal. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Grounds were breathtaking.
Will definitely stay again.
This is by far one of the best places we have ever stayed. All of the amenities of a hotel, with the staff and charm of a Bed and Breakfast. Can’t wait to come back to the UK and stay here again.

Room for improvement
Lovely building, delicious food at dinner, slow / slightly disorganised service from the restaurant team. Had to ask a couple of times for the wine list, the wine wasn’t overly cold, etc. Breakfast was average, food wasn’t great and the service a bit hap hazard. The room was spacious, a little tired and worn but comfortable.
Lovely night regardless of above negative comment.
Room was excellent cafetière had not been cleaned. Dinner was excellent taste and service. Breakfast experience was not the same toaster was too small for bread, there’s was no choice scrambled eggs were not fresh unfortunately breakfast experience did not match the level I expected or experienced during dinner.
The hall is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. The grounds are lovely, and our room was sunny and sweet. The staff of the hotel are lovely and will go out of their way to make you happy and comfortable. We ate twice at the restaurant and were thrilled each time. llangoed Hall is unique, charming and and quite reasonably priced.
Staff goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional service to the guests.
Thank you lady housekeeper and receptionist / mr maintenance and restaurant manager
We stayed overnight on a road trip and were stunned by the beauty of the building. Staff were very friendly and polite and the whole place was like walking through art. Everything was impeccable. The dining experience, the views and the rooms- it was all a dream.
Very nice hotel just off the main Road, Beautiful surroundings in the Welsh countryside, Stayed 2 nights in the very luxurious Suite overlooking the mountains and fields around the back of the hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing people, in particular the Bar / restaurant manageress who we had any hours of chats with her in-between her hectic working schedule keeping things running very smoothly at the bar / restaurant end of the hotel, we attended both an evening meal and a Sunday lunch, both of which were made to perfection, in particular the meal was made even more pleasurable by who I assume was the head waiter, "Graham" a young man from South Africa, was very professional whilst waiting on my wife and I, A true pleasure to have met him.
Overall, an amazing weekend that is sure to get the batteries recharged for a future visit to Llangoed Hall
A true classic of fine dining and luxury .

Disliked: Staff & service
They think its posh but its not worth the money. Service is very poor. No one on front desk. Under staffed. Staff seem over rushed.
Hotel was very noisy with loud noises from staffed area below our room until midnight. Not a good night sleep.
Decor is worn and does not provide the quality you expect for the cost of the room.
Surrounding gardens have been left to nature similar approach to the hotel.
It has a helipad which we thought was an unused patio at first.
Would not go again
