"The property was in the least to say grubby and I shudder to think what the hotel inspector with white gloves on the tv would make of the hotel

"When I arrived I was shown to my room by the owner who was very friendly, but as soon as we entered the room she noticed the bathroom was flooded. She explained that one of the staff members had been fiddling with a pressure reducing valve and it must have caused the shower to run with the door open. They cleared the water up, but the carpet was wet through by the bathroom door and the room smelt damp all night.
Next morning I went to breakfast an hour before I needed to leave. I waited 45...
